what happened?

hmm. what happened?
1-work is OVER, that happened a week ago.
2-"packing" for going back to k-zoo, that has been happening for a week.
3-katie left for her school in nebraska, that happened this morn, Fri, at 2am.
4-i said goodbye to katie, that happened last night, thurs.
5-i went to Eric's band (Duffy)'s show in Canton, that happened this night.

recap:
1-work being over is good, although i feel that i wish I had more cash money.
2-packing for school is kind of funny because some of the stuff hasn't been touched since before France. PS: I need a new livejournal name.
3-katie is gone at school, so thats sad, but she called me tonight when she arrived at school, so that was great.
4-see above, sad.
5-Eric's band was very good, some Wilco was played and a few (I assume) of their own songs. I enjoyed the show. The band before them was OK, and before them ='ed very bad.

OTHER:
things I read:
-The US government, which didn't officially recognize the Taliban in 1998, talks to it in regards to assassinating Osama Bin Laden in 1998 after the US Embassy bombings in Africa.
-Much stuff has recently been read by me about the Vietnam War and how we started that. Everyone knows the problems with it; the way we entered it was equally as bad, illegal bombings, lies about fake North Vietnamese attacks on American ships (Tonkin), massacres = no Vietnam; which leads me to 'get out of Iraq'. thats my quote of the day.
-i saw someone have a bumper sticker and it read: GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ONLY AMERICA. that is wrong on so many levels. But, I want to extrapolate, if thats a word for this situation, i am not sure. SO, say God did decide that He had to only Bless one nation in the world. Would it be America? My idea is that it would not be. Think of the percentage of people who believe in God and who actively worship a God in America. Compared to Christianity in much of Latin and South America, Judaism in Israel, and Islam in the Middle East? (I only go with those religions because I assume that the God the bumper sticker meant was God, Allah, Yahweh, the god of those religions.) Not even close! What if we assume that its religious persons in general, as in Asian and African native religions? Even worse for America. Sure, America would 'win' over Europe, but do you, the plural you, really think that God would choose to Bless America and only America? Come on. God is not a terrorist. America is a terrorist nation. They don't mix. (Perhaps that last comment was too far, I don't know. I feel truth perhaps can never be too far.)

Ok sleep, and probably not to post again for a while. We'll see. Kalamazoo tomorrow to get the house keys! 303 Woodward! Bryan, John, Jeff, and Lucas. Shall be a fun year.
